Hey Bro!! is the biggest game operation inside Traders Village, and after reading through the reviews I think it is probably the most established game vendor at any flea market in Houston. They run two booths side by side, 762 and 764.
Stock runs from retro up through current consoles. This is not a purist retro operation. You will see NES and Genesis carts a few feet from Xbox 360 and modern hardware, which makes it a good place to bring a kid who wants something they can actually play tonight. They buy, sell and trade, and the trade side has a reputation for fair offers rather than lowballing.
The detail I like most is that they let you test consoles before you buy. There are setups at the booth and the expectation is that you plug the thing in first. At a flea market that is a real commitment, and it takes most of the risk out of buying used hardware from a stall.
They sit at 4.7 on Google across more than a thousand reviews, which is enormous volume for a booth. The praise is consistently about the selection and about staff who are patient and happy to talk. Where there is a complaint, it is usually that the booth gets tight on a busy weekend, which is more a description of Traders Village than of them.
Getting there
Traders Village, 7979 N Eldridge Parkway in northwest Houston, off 290. The market is Saturday and Sunday only and parking is six dollars, so plan for that. It is an open air market with more than 1,500 stalls, so navigate to booths 762 and 764 instead of wandering and hoping. Worth knowing: Bryson's Gaming and Collectibles is at booth 362 in the same market, so one parking fee gets you two game vendors.
If the weekend does not work, or you would rather not pay to park, they run a separate storefront out in Katy that opens seven days a week.
