Bryson's Gaming and Collectibles
About
Bryson's is a veteran owned booth at Traders Village, space 362, and it is the one I would point a collector toward if they only had time for one stop in that market. Owner Bryson Anderson has held that space for about six years, which at a market like Trader's Village is a long run. Don't let the store's size fool you, the inventory is tighter and better organized than some of the other nearby stores. Games are sorted by console rather than dumped in bins, which sounds like a small thing until you have spent twenty minutes digging through an unsorted crate.
The range is wider than the booth size suggests. Consoles and games run from Atari all the way to PS5, and alongside that there are comics, strategy guides, accessories, toys and collectibles. The card side is real too, covering Pokémon, Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh and Marvel. Video games are still the draw, but go in knowing it is genuinely both.
He also does disc repair. That is worth a trip on its own, and almost nobody in Houston advertises it from a flea market booth. If you have a scratched PS2 or GameCube disc sitting in a drawer, this is a cheap thing to get looked at while you browse.
Bryson tests items before he sells them, and buys, sells and trades, with trade value going toward anything in the booth. Reviewers keep coming back to two things: he knows what he is talking about, and he prices fairly instead of chasing whatever the last eBay comp said.
Six years of steady trading and almost no reach is precisely where a listing like this does some good. You may also see him posting as Bryson's Gaming Finds, which is the same booth.
